Elder Karla Renee Thomas, of Charlotte, entered into rest on January 6, 2018.  Public viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Grier Memorial Chapel.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Belle Terrace Presbyterian Church, 2473 Golden Camp Rd, Augusta, Georgia.  Rev. Harold Harris, Officiating. Interment Mount Olive Memorial Gardens.   The body will be available for viewing at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Karla is the daughter of Alfred and Ada Thomas of Hephzibah, Georgia.  She attended public schools in Richmond County and graduated from Glenn Hills High School in 1985.  After high school, she attended North Carolina A & T University, where she received her B.S. Degree in Accounting. Elder Thomas is a member of Woodland Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.  W H Mays is assisting the family in Augusta, Georgia.
