Kathy Denise Bennett CHARLOTTE - Kathy Denise Bennett was born February 26, 1964 in Mecklenburg County to Mrs. Carrie Lucas and the late John "Big John" Lumpkin. She entered into eternal life on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, in the comfort of her home in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kathy was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina and she attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, graduating from Myers Park Senior High School Class of 1982. Grier Funeral Services, Inc. will be performing services on June 13, 2014, at New Beginnings Church, 7027 Stillwell Road, Matthews, NC 28105, at 12 pm noon.
