Keesha Tranace Nesbit, aka Kissy, was born on February 12, 1974, to the late David Tillman and the late Alberta Nesbit. She quietly transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Keesha was born and raised in Charlotte, where she attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Before she became sick, Keesha worked several jobs to support her household and her family.

Anyone who knew Keesha was touched by her big heart, and she accepted everyone with open arms and a welcome smile. She loved her children and grandchildren and adored spending time with them. Nobody was more fashionable than Keesha. She had a style that never looked bad and always made everyone else feel good. She loved to cook and would not have dreamed of showing up to a family event without her home-cooked covered dish. She loved listening to music and her favorite singer was Mary J. Blige.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, the late Walter James Nesbit and Willie Bell Shannon; one brother, Eric Tillman; four uncles, Herman Nesbit, Maxzell Pete Nesbit, Gene Withers and Tommy Sifford; and two aunts, Albunia Nesbit and Sadie Mae Nesbit.

She leaves to cherish her longtime partner and common law husband, Roy La'Mont Jones; twin daughters, Keyonda Jones and Breyonda Jones; one son, Malik Jones; one step daughter, Temia Tolbert; six grandchildren, Da'Mir Polk, Dylan Williams, D'Nyla Williams, Rilynn Jones, Zaylen Jones and Korbyn Jones; three step grandchildren, Missouri Woodfield, Dynver Sinclair and Belair Tolbert-Allen; five brothers, Robert Nesbit, Kendall Nesbit, Kinani Nesbit, La'Domiyarkia Nesbit and David Tillman III (Lisa); one sister, Shonta Faulkner-Ladson (Casey); two special nieces, La'Porche Nesbit and Ja'Laya Hardrick; one close cousin, Paulette Nesbit; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
