Mr. Kelvin Eugene Luckey, 62, of Charlotte, NC departed this life on March 4, 2024, at Atrium Pineville.

Mr. Kelvin Eugene Luckey was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on December 5, 1961. Kelvin peacefully departed into eternal rest Monday, March 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Kelvin was guided in life by his parents, Robert and Frances Calhoun and James Luckey.

Kelvin attended public school in Mecklenburg County and graduated from Independence High School. Following completion of high school, Kelvin served proudly in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant from 1980-1988. While serving, he began his career as an Electrician working to repair airplanes, adoring every moment. He later transitioned into civilian life continuing his passion of being a "Spark Chaser" Electrician.

Kelvin's life centered around Christ. His favorite topics were airplanes and the Dallas Cowboys of which both would start a never ending conversation or history lesson. Kelvin was loved and adored by all who knew him.

Kelvin is preceded in death by brothers, James Scott Luckey, Byron Kent Luckey and sister, Chandra McGowan.

Kelvin is survived by his loving parents, Robert and Frances Calhoun and James Luckey; his beautiful daughters, Karen Luckey, Shakendra Luckey; and granddaughter, Daylana Luckey; brother-in-law, Nathaniel McGowan; sister, Laura Wright; a host of nephews and nieces; and two aunts, Julia Wingate and Linda Reid.
