Kenneth "K.C." Perry Campbell, 67 of Charlotte, passed away on August 13, 2019 at his residence.  He was born in Chesterfield, SC on December 4, 1951 to the late Minnie Campbell.

Kenneth was highly accomplished. He graduated from Chesterfield High School in 1971.  He received his diploma in welding at Chesterfield-Marlboro Technical Education Center in 1973.

Kenneth served in the United States Army from 1973 to 1977 and retired in 2011.  He served in the South Carolina Army National Guard from 1977 to 1995 and retired in 1995.  Kenneth was employed at Freightliner from 1988 to 2019.

Kenneth affectionately called K.C. by family and friends, enjoyed making music, debating and conversing with friends and reading, because as we know, education was key to him.

Kenneth was preceded in death by mother, Minnie Campbell; brother, Robert Campbell; sister, Elise Campbell; grandfather, Kenny Campbell; aunt, Hattie Campbell; and uncles, Jason Campbell and Ben Campbell.

Left to cherish fond memories are his daughter, Ms. Jarita Kenche'z Campbell; grandson, Jakhari Ali Campbell; sister, Betty Campbell; nieces, Teresa Campbell and Charlene Ratliff; nephew, Dwight Campbell (Camille); special cousin, CoraLee Campbell; and a host of relatives and friends.
