Kenneth Spearman, 67 of Charlotte, departed this life on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Novant Health Presbyterian.

Mr. Kenneth Spearman was born August 20, 1955, in Greenwood, South Carolina, son of the late Eleanor Spearman. Eleanor passed away May 26, 2005.

Kenneth was educated in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

Kenneth served in the Military where he was discharged on December 11, 1973. He was employed with the Charlotte Observer 30+ years, where he retired.

He is survived by his brother, James Spearman; children Travis Spearman and Tia Chappell; seven grandchildren, Lauren Paige Alford, Trenton Spearman, Ezra Spearman, Angel Spearman, Isaiah Chappell, Sanaa Fonte and Amira; two great grandchildren, Ashton Alford and Realynn Spearman; niece, Tanika Brown; Three great nieces, Alexis Brown, Jewel Johnson, Tiondra Camp; one great nephew, Juhwan Johnson; two great great nieces, Ariyah Perry, Jaycee Johnson; a great great nephew, Alijah McFarlin and a host of relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
