Kenny Jerome Pickett, 47, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

Kenny Jerome Pickett was born on July 5, 1979, in Charlotte, NC to Mary Alice Pickett and Italy Williams, Sr. On July, 11, 2026, he transitioned peacefully at Atrium Health Medical Center, leaving behind family and friends who loved him dearly.

Kenny attended Garinger High School. He left high school to become an entrepreneur that he worked hard and loved. “KP Tires was his heart.” He also loved fishing and the race track. Kenny’s life was a reflection of his love for everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Pickett and his brother, Darryll Pickett,

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Kenny Pickett, Jr., Jamaya and Jaylen Pickett and Trevon McKoy; a special cousin who was like a sister, Latasha Pickett; stepmothers, Charlette Kirkland and Peggy Stinson; his best friend, Marcus Mason; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His presence will be truly missed.
