Kent Ashley Hampton, 52 of Indian Land, SC departed this life on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. He was born in Pennsylvania on October 10, 1970, to the late, great Queen Sandra Staunton and Eddie White.  He leaves to cherish his memory:  his beloved wife Jamie Harris-Hampton, as well as three children Malik "Kush" Hampton, Osjara Jeraldina Duncan, and Kent James Hampton- a brother, Sean Hampton and a sister Latoya Goethe, both who he loved dearly, four grandchildren: Jordyn Hampton, Cali Campbell, Dallas Hampton and Gino Hampton, an uncle, aunts, several cousins, along with a multitude of family and friends.

To know Kent was to love Kent.  Raised in Stamford, CT, Kent was well educated but a degree didn't define him.  He was intelligent and wise ahead of his years.  Beyond his passion for golf, he made a career out of caddying for 30+ years.  Kent being a creator, music was second nature to him.  Not only was he an artist, he performed. Kent Ashley Hampton was and always will be an amazing Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend.  HE WILL TRULY BE MISSED.
