Kevin Eugene Buchanan, 71, of Stanley, NC, departed this life on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Atrium Health-Mercy Hospital. Kevin was born in Statesville, NC on June 25, 1953, and grew up in Charlotte, NC.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Donna Buchanan; and one of his sisters Sylvia. He is survived by his son, Kendall Buchanan; two step-daughters, Crystal Stophel and Alysia East (Alysia's spouse - Dave); grandsons, Austin (Austin's spouse - Brenna) and Noah; great granddaughter, Aubree; two sisters; two brothers; nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives.
