Mr. Kim Lewis Cornelius, son of the late Robert L. Cornelius and Mary C. Cornelius. He was born May 10, 1962 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. Blue worked for Floyd King Construction Co. for many years until his creative min decided to start his own business of Blue's Painting Company in 2004. Blue was an artist and painting was his passion.

Even though painting was his passion, he also enjoyed hanging with family and friends watching the New York Giants playing football. He was a very loving father, brother, and great friend to many.

Blue leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Chamise Dixon-Cornelius, his mother Mary C. Cornelius; two brothers, William Carrouthers and Deno Cornelius; one sister Kisha White; three uncles Tony Carrouthers (Elaine), Steve Carrouthers (Phillis) and Kory Carrouthers all of Charlotte, NC, close nieces Jalissa Stafford of Charlotte, NC and Taylor Carrouthers of Bronx, NY; close nephews William Carrouthers, Christian Jackson and Tylee Cornelius all of Charlotte, NC; his two best friends David Harraway and Lonnie Haynes; a very close friend Brenda Massey all of Charlotte NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
