Mrs. Kimberly Rhomyne Foster, 58, of Charlotte, NC departed this life on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Atrium University.

Kimberly Rhomyne Riley Foster, was born November 1, 1965, in New Hanover County, North Carolina to the late James Preston Riley and Doris Elizabeth Riley (Barber).

Kimberly was a graduate of West Mecklenburg High School, Class of 1983.  She also furthered her education at American Business and Fashion Institute displaying her love for fashion. Kimberly continued her lifelong journey being employed in retail at Belk and Ivey's uptown Charlotte. She later became a homemaker and caretaker of her oldest son Cory.

Kimberly's eye for fashion, and interior design was just one of her many passions and one of her many special gifts. Kimberly loved spending time with her grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Kimberly was loved by so many, especially by her husband who was her best friend.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, James Preston Riley; mother, Doris Elizabeth Riley (Barber); and brother, Bradford C. Riley.

Kimberly leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 39 years, Jeffery Lynn Foster Sr.; three sons, Cory Andre Riley, Raymond Riley Davis and Jeffery Lynn Foster, Jr. (Dominique); one brother, James W. Riley; one sister, Ave Green; three brothers-in-law, Clay Foster, Jerry Foster (Alisa) and Kerry Foster (Claudette); three grandchildren, Devon Jaylynn Foster, Layla Janelle Foster and Braeden James Foster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, bonus children, family, extended family and friends.
