Miss. Kionna Lashae Guy, 30 of Charlotte, passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Aldersgate surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born July 31, 1989 in Charlotte, North Carolina.  She was the daughter of Charles Edward Guy, Jr. and Veronique Nikki Guy.

Kionna Guy graduated from Zebulon B. Vance High School in Charlotte, NC in 2007.  After high school, she completed some healthcare courses at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC).  For a short period of time, she took on the role of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and was employed by Homewatch Caregivers. She moved on to handling healthcare enrollment at Aon Hewitt and from there to the Lash Group.  From 2007 to 2016 she worked with her Aunt Yindra at JP Morgan Chase off and on during their peak seasons.  From 2016 to 2018 Kionna worked for PMAB collecting  past due debts for pharmaceutical and healthcare providers. In the last year, Kionna began her own business setting her own hours doing post mates where she provided flexible delivery services to many customers in the surrounding communities.  She loved traveling, spending time with her daughter, family and friends.

Kionna leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Z'Khya Nashai Carter; father, Charles Edward Guy, Jr. (Pamela); mother, Veronique Nikki Guy; three sisters, Khyeisha Seletha Guy, Alesa Delores Guy and Victoria Guy; brothers, Charlton Jacory Kelly and Breon Wallace; niece. Lailah Sanaa Alexander; aunts, Yindra Lynah Smallwood, Evelyn Guy and Alisa Guy; uncles, Charles Antwan Lynah and Edward McAdams; grandfather, Charles Edward Guy, Sr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
