Kwinia Davis Eure CHARLOTTE - On August 12, 2014, Kwinia Davis Eure, in the comfort of her own home, passed peacefully into the presence of God. Born on April 10, 1955, to Samuel C. Davis and the late Malvise Nuby Davis, she was later adopted by Maxine O. Davis. Her funeral will be held at 12:00 on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at First Baptist Church West, 1801 Oaklawn Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28216. Visitation will be at 11:00, memorial service at 11:30 and service at 12:00. The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority will perform their ceremony during the first portion of the hour. Survivors include husband, Marquis A. Eure; children, Melvise Eure Powell (Brandon), Jason A. Eure, Derrick Davis Eure; parents, Dr. Samuel and Maxine O. Davis; uncles, aunts, in-laws, cousins, nieces & nephews, and many wonderful friends. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
