Obituary

We, the entire family of Lamar Kyle Weathers, humbly give thanks to our Creator. Thanks for the special gift of Lamar Kyle who was loaned to us for a very short time on this earth. Lamar Kyle Weathers began his life with us on November 3, 1983; born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina to Elder Eddie L. Weathers and Mary P. Weathers. Lamar Kyle unexpectedly departed this earthly life for his Heavenly Home on July 16, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Lamar Kyle confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and worshipped at Ramoth AME Zion Church since birth. Lamar  Kyle attended Self's Daycare in Clinton Park from birth to five years of age before moving on to Steele Creek Elementary School. After three years there he transferred to Lake Wylie Elementary School. Once Lamar Kyle finished primary schooling, he then moved on to Bishop Spaugh (STEM) Middle School where he pursued his passion for football by trying out and making their team. Lamar Kyle continued his passion for football as he moved on to Harding University School where he made their team and very active until graduating in class of 2002.

Lamar Kyle went on to attend Central Piedmont Community College for a short time before dedicating all his time to work. He also went to truck driving school and earned his CDL license with all endorsements and became certified lifeguard for two years. Even as a young man, he embodied a strong work ethic and appreciation for having his own money. As a young fourteen year old teenager, Lamar Kyle's first employer was Winn-Dixie supermarket in 1997. He worked there until moving on to Hannaford Supermarket up until they went out of business in 200. He gained employment with Bi-Lo supermarket where he worked for several years before embracing an opportunity with US Foods where he was employed for nine years until his untimely death. He was also employed with Berry Global for a period of time in between his employment at US foods. Lamar Kyle LOVED working as US Foods where he spent 90% of his time. The employees there became his friends with some becoming like second family. He felt happy and complete being employed with US foods.

He is joined in heaven by his deceased maternal grandmother Era Sturdivant, maternal grandmother Area Pratt, maternal grandfather Ernest Pratt, paternal grandmother Hattie G. Weathers, paternal grandfather Williams Weathers and his godmother Vivian Gray. Lamar Kyle leaves to cherish his loving memories, his parents Elder Eddie Lamar Weathers and Mary P. Weathers, his only sibling Kimberly L. Weathers, his nephew Montreal Lamond Elijah Rice, his niece, god-daughter and namesake Kyla Aloncia Beatrice Weathers, his nephew and namesake Kyllen Lamar Matthew Weathers, all of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Lamar Kyle also leaves his loving memories with extended family; aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, and numerous cousins and friends, and his Godfather Charles Sturdivant, and six Godbrothers and one Godsister.

Lamar Kyle will be greatly missed as he was dearly loved by his family and friends. He will be missed most and forever remembered for all his acts of kindness, support, humor, and love. He was truly one of a kind. We love you, Lamar Kyle.
