LaMeeka De'Vondra Calloway, lovingly known as "Meeka," was born on August 26, 1987 in Charlotte, North Carolina. LaMeeka made her transition to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2022.

LaMeeka had a big loving heart and smile that would light up your soul.  She was always willing to help others in need.  She had a passion for helping people with disabilities, trying to make them feel like they were just like her.  She loved the color pink, listening to music, dancing, and singing.

LaMeeka was undeniably loyal to her family and friends.  We will always remember her precious smile, her beautiful green eyes and caring personality.  Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.

When you think of LaMeeka, celebrate the good memories you have of her.  Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

LaMeeka is survived by her loving children, A'Meeka, twins, A'Royalty and A'Legend; mother, Sharolyne (Pongie) Blackmon; father, Bernard Blackmon; grandparents, Brenda and Robert Calloway; aunts, LaTricia Black, Sheila Calloway; her best friend, Terrika Thomas; and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
