Larry was born in Charlotte, NC on June 11, 1962 as the youngest son to Isaac Torrence Graham, Jr. "Sonny" and Joan Acker Graham. He transitioned suddenly, on February 13, 2024, in Santa Fe, New Mexico while on assignment with his new job.

Larry was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District and graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a degree in Business.  While at UNC-Charlotte, Larry joined two prestigious fraternal organizations:  Alpha Phi Alpha, which was the fraternity of his paternal grandfather Isaac T. Graham, Sr.; and Alpha Kappa Psi Eta Omega Chapter, which is a business fraternity with the purpose of developing its members into principle business leaders.  He was equally proud to be a member of both.

Larry was raised as a member of Our Lady of Consolation in Charlotte, NC, where he received his first communion.  He loved the Lord, was a devout Catholic and was proud of a cross he purchased years ago that was blessed by the Pope.

Larry was the third born of his cousin crew called lovingly, "the Army" by his paternal grandmother Corrie Gaston Graham. The cousin crew consisted of his older brother Isaac T. Graham, III "Mike", cousin Calvin Wallace, cousin Patrice Wallace-Moore, cousin Dierdre Wallace-Hines and sister Samaria Graham. Felecia Pullen and Brian Smith (cousin) were added to the Army at a later time.

After his education at UNC, Larry moved to Atlanta, GA and embarked upon a career as an independent claims adjuster with various companies. His dream job was to work for FEMA. In February 2024, his dream came to fruition as he embarked upon a training program in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  In every experience, Larry left his indelible mark. His gregarious laugh, genuine concern for others, work ethic, loves for good food, travel and Diet Pepsi, in a large mug were all indicative of Larry's personality and style.  Larry also loved fine arts, shoes, hats, watches and scarves.  He loved taking pictures of his travel adventures and his family and friends.  He was passionate and compassionate and a good story would end either with great laughter or tears.

Larry had a very close relationship with his Mother.  Every chance he got to call her and visit, he did. Just like Larry, the day after his sudden passing a card and three dozen roses were delivered to his favorite valentine "his mom".  He also loved his father tremendously and was there for him right until he transitioned.  He would say to his Dad, "thank you for being my dad" and his Dad would respond, "thank you for being my son".  Larry also would say, "take care of my big brother".

Larry loved to travel and he had very special friends with whom he traveled.  He has been to Australia, France, Rome, Canada, Brazil and other awesome places.  But Paris was his place of peace. He loved the French sea and blue sky and found his peace by the water and would say in French "J'Adore" which means, "I adore".   It is there he met his partner Patrice.  Patrice is an amazing cook and artist and described Larry as a diamond that always illuminated every room.  Patrice said Larry was more famous than Celine Dion because whenever he came in town everyone wanted to spend time with him.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Isaac T. Graham, Jr.; his paternal grandparents Isaac T. Graham, Sr. and Corrie G. Graham; his maternal grandparents Lawyer and Willie Acker and his sister in law Cynthia Graham.

Larry is survived by his mother Joan Acker Graham, brother, Isaac T. Graham, III and sister Samaria Graham, II; aunt, LaNarda Williamson (Scott); godchildren Robyn Hines-Pena and Calvin "Jolly" Hines; cousins Calvin G. Wallace (Pat), Patrice Wallace-Moore (Lowes); Dierdre Wallace-Hines (Calvin), and Herbert T. Green "H.T"; his partner Patrice Rodez, and a host of cousins, coworkers and friends.

Sleep well Larry and may your snores be received in Heaven with the great love they were received by all of us.
