Mr. Larry Darnell Whitlock, 68 of Charlotte, departed this life on Thursday, February 3, 2022.  He was born November 19, 1953 in Pineville, N.C., son of the late Charles and Betty Whitlock.

We all knew him as "Coondog". He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Donald, Charles, Bobby, and David and two great grandchildren, Carlos II and Amarian.

Mr. Larry Darnell Whitlock leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Terry Chisholm Smith; two brothers, Ronnie and James Whitlock; five grandchildren, Artterrian Chisholm (Jashia), Donte Chishlom, Omar Chisholm (Diamond), Uniquicka Whitener, and Laressa Gomes; four great grandchildren Artterrian Jr., Arttavious, Kayden, and Rhylei.
