Lechanda Rene Harris, 46 of Charlotte, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 20, 1974 to the late Charles and Carolyn Harris.  She attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools where she earned her diploma from Garinger High School.  She worked at Sam's Club in the bakery.  She loved decorating cakes for family celebrations.  She married Chinwuba Latre Kiser on January 14, 2003 and to that union was born Ashanti, Gabrielle and Noah.

Chanda was a very sweet and loving person that kept a smile no matter what was going on in her life.  She was a very soft-spoken person and would give you the shirt off her back.  She loved to read.  She suffered a long-term illness but never complained. Her son Noah said she was a hard-working lady who spread happiness.  Ashanti said that her mother was fun and got our a lot.  Gabrielle said her mom always put others before herself.  She loved spending quality time with her family and she loved to dance.

She leaves to mourn her loss a loving Husband,Chinwuba;Three children, Ashanti, Gabrielle and Noah; a Mother-in-law; Emily Singletary and Brother-in-laws, Latorrance Singletary (Tameka), Marcus Kiser and Sister-in-law; Keisha Culp (Anthony); her loving and dedicated Mother, Carolyn Harris and Sister, Rosalind Givens; 11 nieces and nephews, and a host of Aunts, Uncle, Cousins, Relatives and Friends.
