Mrs. Lenora Caple Davie "Nora" , 66, was born January 10, 1956 in Charlotte, NC to the late Kester and Cathey M. Caple. She departed this life on January 28, 2022.

She graduated from Myers Park High School and later received her associate degree at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. From a young age, she was always family oriented and enjoyed traveling. Her favorite destination was Myrtle Beach, SC. She also loved watching the Carolina Panthers, cooking for her family, and supported her children and grandchildren in various sports, church, and school activities. Lenora was loving, selfless, and a blessing to all she came in contact with. As a born-again Christian, she and her husband would get up every morning and do a daily devotion, even during her illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents Kester and Cathey Caple, 3 brothers - Kesler Caple (Anne), Lester Caple, Roger Caple. She leaves to cherish her memories: Her loving and devoted husband of 35 years Reginald Davie; two daughters: Shara Settle (Jon), Charday Graham (Brandon); three sons: Andre Caple (Tasia), David Caple, Jonathan Caple; eight grandchildren: Maliek, Essence, Nasir, Josiah, Tashonna, Leah, Jayona, Alexander; one brother: Harold Caple; seven sisters: Annie Horne, Mary Caple, Barbara Caple, Joyce Forte (Perry), Donna Gregory (William), Charlene Caple, Phyllis Little (Terrence); two brother-in-laws: Fred Davie (Michael), Thomas Davie (Selina); two sister-in-laws: Phyllis Davie Mack, Brenda Caple; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
