Leola HARRIS was born on November 3, 1944, in Charlotte, NC and departed this earthly life on September 29, 2024. Leola was an affectionate and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister and a warm-hearted aunt.

She attended the Second Ward High School and graduated in 1962. From 1974 - 2004 she worked and retired from the Radiator Specialty Company.

Her drive in life was providing a loving and nurturing environment for her two sons. She was the essence of their lives and a cherished role model. For her grandchildren she laid the foundation with love. They now encompass her joy of life and fulfillment of her legacy.

Leola is preceded in death by her parents George and Maggie Harris; her brothers, George Harris Jr., Nathaniel Harris; sister, Lois Nicholson; great-grandchild, Caiden Jeffrey Harris; and long-time devoted friend, Walter Smith Jr.

Leola's surviving family members are her sons and their wives, Jarrod (Barbara) Harris of Woodbridge, VA and Jeffrey (Jaqueline) Harris of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Nicole (Markus) Brown, Kimberly (Apostolos) Petridis, Angelina (Cody) Bumpus, Terrence (Sina) Harris all residing in Germany. Jelissa Harris, Jeffrey Harris Jr., Allen Harris, Marcus Allison, all residing in Charlotte, NC and thirteen great-grandchildren; her siblings, Herman Harris of Lincolnton, NC, Peggy Woods, Doris Crenshaw and Adrian Harris, all residing in Charlotte; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and her special friend, Brenda Talley-Ford.
