Mrs. Letsy Graham Drye, 95 of Charlotte, transitioned on Friday, October 8, 2021 at her residence.  She was born on January 25, 1926 in Bladen County, NC to the late George Graham and Mary Blanks Graham.  She was one of 9 siblings, whom all preceded her in death.  She was married to George Wesley Drye, who also preceded her in death.

Letsy Drye gradated from Fayetteville State Teachers College in 1948 with a B.A. Degree and also received a Masters Degree from Virginia State University.  She also played on the girl's basketball team.

Letsy started working in Charlotte School System in 1948 and retired in 1987.  She was a dedicated teacher and loved her students.  She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Charlotte.

Left to cherish her precious loving memories are one niece, Dalphaline Williams; great-niece, Latonia W. Harrison (Pierre Harrison II); great-nephews, Pierre K. Harrison, Micah Harrison, and Josiah Harrison; great-niece, Paityn Harrison.
