Mrs. Lillian Butts Myers Johnson, 83 of Charlotte, quietly departed this life for her eternal home on Thursday October 8, 2020 at her residence. She was born on November 29, 1936 to the late Mary Anderson and Willie Butts.

She receive her formal education in Hartsville, SC.  After moving to Charlotte she became a member of Temple Chapel Baptist Church.  She also became a cafeteria manager for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willie B. Johnson; grandson, Dequantae; brother, Jimmy Anderson; mother, grandmother, 2 uncles and 3 aunts.

She leaves to mourn; 3 daughters, Yvette (Henry) Williams, Yvonne Myers, and Yolanda Myers; 3 grandchildren, Kevin Myers, Amadess Myers, and Zoe Williams; 3 great grandchildren, Kameron Myers, Azaria Myers, and Atumun Carter; cousins, Barbara Drummond, Ruby Jacob, Mary McLeod, Eloise Williams, David Toney, and Eddie Toney; special friends, Eloise Boyd, Eloise Pettice, Elizabeth Robinson, Arry McCauley, and David Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends; her extended family, Kayla Barner and children, Cookie Walls, and Verida Curry.  She loved her Pastor, Daron Mills.
