Lillie Mae Hill Boyd, born the fourteenth of June, 1923, to the late Bob Hill, Sr. and Daisy Grant Hill in York, South Carolina. She lived a long fulfilling life of 97 years.

Lillie, affectionately known as "Mother Boyd," was a devoted member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. She served on the Missionary Board and sang praises on the Hymn Choir. She enjoyed praying, reading her bible and grooming her flower beds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Collie Boyd, Sr.; her son, Robert L. Boyd; grandson, Darryl Boyd; great-grandson, Andre
Boyd, Jr.; sisters, Anna Collins and Kather McConnell; brothers, Lamar Hill and Bob Hill, Jr., as well as other numerous family members and friends.

She leaves behind a son, Collie Boyd, Jr.; grandchildren, Harris Boyd (Peaches), Andre Boyd, Sr., April Boyd and Sandra Springs; along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lillie Mae has definitely touched the hearts of the Paw Creek Community. Her spirit and love shall continue to live and memories will always reside in our hearts.
