Linda Sue Holland, 72 of Charlotte, departed this life on Saturday, January 1, 2022.  She was the daughter of Lillian Sue Holland, was born January 22, 1949 in Concord, NC.  She was educated in the public schools of Mecklenburg County.  Linda started working as a factory worker and to her credit, she worked at some of the best snack companies Charlotte had to offer, including Jack Cookies, Duchess Bakery and finally Lance Snacks, until her health started to fail.  Linda loved to cook, and was especially known for her famous lemon pound cake.  She also enjoyed singing, reading and playing solitaire on her cellphone.

Linda was a faithful and devoted member of Faith CME Church for many decades.  She served on the Stewardess Board, the 24/7 Prayer Ministry, the Senior Care Ministry and the Pastor's Aide Board.

Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her son, Charles Holland (Cynthia); her granddaughters, Jasmine Holland, Dominique Bryant, Natasha Bryant; great-grandsons, Domonick Holland, Ali Jabbar Coble; her sister, Faye Pittman; nephew, Johnny Pittman Jr., all of Charlotte, NC; and a host of relatives and friends.

Linda spent the last few years of her life at Huntersville Oaks, which she enjoyed.  She was deeply loved and cared for by the staff.  Linda will always be remembered by her daily quotes "To GOD Be The Glory" and "Thank GOD for the Blessings!"
