Mrs. Linda Ann Lowery of Charlotte, North Carolina departed on her heavenly journey on Monday, May 18, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her daughters and loved ones. Linda was the daughter of the late Tyree and Ruth Phillips, born on September 12, 1950, and raised in Gaston County. She was a member of the Greater Deliverance Ministries. Left to cherish only fond memories are her daughters, Monette Graves (Daren) and Tarlena Lowery; one granddaughter, Kierra Lowery; brothers, Tyree Phillips, Jr. (Kathleen), Ozell Phillips and Terry Phillips, all of Charlotte; sisters, Helen M. Phillips of Charlotte and Patty Simmons (Fred) of Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Grier Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at York Memorial Park.
