Mrs. Linda Joyce McCrorey, 67, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Atrium Main.

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved Linda McCrorey, who transitioned peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted wife, nurturing mother, proud grandmother, and faithful friend, Linda lived a life rooted in strength, compassion, and grace.

Born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, Linda was the cherished daughter of the late William Sullivan Sr. and Velma Sullivan. She was raised in Charlotte, NC, where she attended Harding High School and later graduated from Central Piedmont Community College with a degree in Medical Assisting. Linda's heart for helping others defined both her career and the way she lived her life.

She was the loving wife of Melvin McCrorey Sr., her devoted partner and lifelong companion. Together, they built a home grounded in faith, family, and love. Linda was a dedicated mother to Melvin McCrorey Jr. (Jazmin) and Maurice McCrorey (Diane), and the proud grandmother of Montrion, Marice, Anthony, David, Dereon, Aniya, Katelyn, Kiersten, and Eliyana, who were all deeply cherished by her.  Linda is also survived by her siblings, Vivian Paige (Greg), Jarvis Sullivan, and Sharron Balderamo (Domingo).

In addition to her parents, William and Velma Sullivan, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Sullivan Jr., and her sister, Sylvia Hoover.

Linda will be remembered for her quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering faith. She touched countless lives with her kindness, encouragement, and wisdom. Her presence brought peace, and her love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Linda now rests in eternal peace, reunited with loved ones and embraced by everlasting light.
