Linda Denise Sellers, 68, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Atrium Health Pineville in Charlotte, NC.

Linda Johnson Sellers was born July 5, 1957, in Bangor, Maine to the late Robert Lee Johnson and Jessie Lee Robbins Foster. She departed this life on February 15, 2026 at Atrium Health Pineville in Charlotte, NC.

Linda was the second of three children. She graduated from East Mecklenburg High School in 1975. She had a degree in Fashion Design/Merchandising and she was a licensed cosmetologist. She retired as a Substance Abuse Counselor.

Linda started her ministry at New Covenant Bibleway Church in Charlotte, NC where she was an evangelist. She later attended Kingdom Covenant Church, also in Charlotte, NC. Linda enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved gospel, jazz and the singer Anita Baker. The beach was her happy place. She would go on annual trips with her sister, aunts and cousins to Myrtle Beach, SC.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Damion Johnson; her sister, Brenda Polk; and her brother, Robert Keith Johnson.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, DeTasha Johnson and DeMeshia Sellers and her son. Deonte Sellers, all of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, TyNesha Lias, Domonique M. Johnson, Kamari M. Johnson, Cameron J. Johnson and Aubri Paige; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend, Kevin Barnette.
