Loroli Denise Blackwood, 71, of Charlotte, passed away on February 24, 2026.

She was born on July 14, 1954, in Petersburg to Ann Parker and Clarence Pate, and was raised in Syracuse. Her upbringing shaped the resilience and determination that defined her life.

Loroli was a woman of faith, strength, and perseverance. A lifelong learner, she believed growth never stops. In 2018, she proudly earned her degree in copywriting from DeVry University. At the time of her passing, she was pursuing a degree in massage therapy, continuing her commitment to learning and service.

She loved to sing and could often be found reading her Bible. Her faith was her foundation and a source of comfort throughout her life.

She is survived by her son, Tyrone Parker; daughter-in-law, Leah Parker; and her beloved grandchildren, Niara Parker, Ty Parker, and Gianna Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Linval Blackwood (2021); her granddaughter, Azaria Parker; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Charlotte on March 2, 2026, at 11:45 a.m.
