Ms. Lottie Bell Gill, 76, of Charlotte passed away on May 27, 2015 at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center. She was born in York, South Carolina, daughter of the late James Logan and Georgiana Logan. Lottie studied cosmetology in Greenville, North Carolina and utilized that trade during her early years in High Point, North Carolina. There she met her husband, the late Norris Gill. She was a member of Saint Stephens AME Zion Church where she served in the Adult Day Care Ministry. Upon moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, she met a new set of friends at Madison Saints Paradise Assisted Living Facility where she resided for 10 years. The family is grateful for the wonderful care she received there. As a member of Seigle Avenue First Church of God, she cherished the support of her fellow members and the ministry of Pastor Daryle J. Garner. Mrs. Bell spent her final years in the loving care of her daughter, Sylvia Gill and Mr. Gerald Murphy. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Larry Logan (Beverly), and Frankie Gill (Lisa); daughter, Sylvia Gill (Gerald); son-in-law, Charles Rutledge; brother, Frankie Logan; loving cousin, Mrs. Mattie Mae Baldridge; grandchildren, Maneika Miller, Victoria Logan, Kenyon Brewington, Shakeena Ross, and Darral Anderson. She leaves many special cousins, relatives, and friends in Thomasville, High Point, and Charlotte. The funeral service for Mrs. Bell will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 12 noon at Seigle Avenue First Church of God. Visitation with friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Interment will be on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 10:45 a.m. at Carolina Biblical Garden in Greensboro, NC.
