Ms. Louilyn Morris, 64 of Charlotte, passed away on Thursday May 14, 2020 at Atrium Health-Main. She was born September 27, 1955 to the late Arthur Lee Hoover.
Louilyn or as she was most affectionately known as "Pinky", was a faithful and trusted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Pinky graduated from Harding High School in 1973 and was a dedicated anesthesiologist technician for 38 years at Carolinas Medical Center She committed her life to God at a young age. She was a loyal and faithful member of Victory Christian Center until she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Later, she began to attend Steele Creek A.M.E. Zion Church where she became and remained a member.
Some of Pinky's favorite pastimes were listening to gospel music, cooking, watching sports and ratchet tv. Pinky knew three things for sure; her unwavering love for God, ANY Washington Redskins stats and Black History. She never met a stranger and would give you her all as well as her last. You could always catch Pinky calling you her favorite sayings "listen", "hey chic/hey dude" and "your crazy self".
Those who preceded her in death are: brother Anton Hoover and sister Wanda Hoover. Pinky's cherished memories continues with James Morris, her loving husband of 38 years; her "FB" Jeramy Hoover (Evony), favorite daughter Nadia Morris (Brian) and the baby James Morris III; her sisters, Cynthia Hoover, Delphine Cooper and brother Raymond Hoover; granddaughters, Jada and Jordyn Hoover; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, great nephews, cousins, work family and friends.
