Louis Wallace Baylor, 73, of Charlotte, North Carolina, departed this life on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his residence.  Louis was born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 7, 1951, to Louis Wallace Baylor Sr. and Stella Mae Wiggins Baylor.

Louis was a graduate of Franklin High School, Brooklyn, New York. He received his bachelor's degree from Bryant and Stratton College, Syracuse, New York.

He enjoyed music. He was a member of a local band in New York as a drummer. His favorite show on TV was Married with Children; his favorite gospel choir was the Georgia Mass Choir. He retired as a CNA-2 and supervisor at a nursing facility in New York. Louis enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Louis is survived by his daughter, Taneeka Olivia Nicole "Nikki" Baylor; granddaughter, Karmen Amira Lovely Baylor; brother, Alton Louis Mosley and his wife Cristina; sisters, Kissy Victoria Future Mosley, Shawna Lea Baylor and Shanté Maria Baylor; godbrother, Lamont Clinton Brown; step-mother, Denalee Baylor; aunt, Mazie McGuirt; special friends, Shelia Terry and Fantasia; along with a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Wallace Baylor Sr. and Stella Mae Wiggins Baylor; sister Debra Renee Baylor; brother Michael Lee Baylor and his grandparents.
