Mr. Louranzo Fletcher was born February 26, 1952 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Jessie and Susie Fletcher. Louranzo was the seventh child of fourteen children born to this union. One brother, Frank Fletcher and one sister, Maggie Eberhardt preceded him in death. Louranzo passed away at his home with loved ones by his side on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
Louranzo, affectionately called "Lowe" by family and friends, completed his primary education in Huntsville and worked for SunTrust Bank before moving to Cleveland, Ohio in the late 80's. He then worked for the City of Cleveland for 20 years before retiring and marrying his best friend and bowling partner.
Louranzo leaves to cherish his memory his wife, companion and best friend, Cheryl Douglas; eleven children, Anthony Binford (Tonya), Rhonda Fletcher, Esther Jennings, Darnise Demery (Mike), Marquita Fletcher, William Douglas, Breanna Dillihunt, DeAndre Douglas (Sharon), Marlana Douglas (Dan), Sophia Fletcher and L.J. Fletcher; six sisters, Jessie Mae (Johnny), Bernice Wiggins, Glenda Douglas, Annette Harden, Karen Springer (Amsley) and Jacqueline Fletcher; six brothers, Solley B. Fletcher, William Fletcher (Mary), Roosevelt Fletcher (Dorothy), J.C. Fletcher, Jr. (Melissa), Thaddeus Fletcher (Angelette) and Melvin Gideon (Virginia); one brother-in-law, Walter Eberhardt; a close niece/daughter, Shavon Fletcher; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lowe was "one of a kind." He was the owner of the Carolina Rollers UBA Bowling Team and loved to golf.
To know him was to love him and he was loved by many.
