Lucille  "Cille" Moore Grier, 87 of Charlotte, met her heavenly father on September 15, 2020 after a period of illness.  She was born May 3, 1933 to the late Elijah Moore and Pecolia Moore.

At the time of passing, Lucille lived with her two surviving daughters, Pecolia Grier and Lou Ann Grier of Charlotte, NC.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Aaron Grier; her one brother, Albert Moore; and her only son, Aaron Grier, Jr.

She is survived by her two daughters; her one sister, Alice Moore; one nephew, Darry Moore; one great-nephew, Jamar Hemphill.  She also leaves five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Lucille Moore Grier was "one of a kind"!  She never met a stranger and she never turned anyone away.  She loved all her children and being surrounded by family.  She had a rare passion for cooking and loved spending time with her sister and was known to make the best out of any situation.  One thing is certain and two things for sure, they don't make them like this anymore.
