Mrs. Lucille Martha Wells, 91, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Atrium University.

Ms. Lucille M. Wells was born on January 2, 1934, to the late Mr. Joseph Stanley and Mrs. Bessie Stanley. God granted her wings on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

She was kind to everyone she met and was known for loving the Lord, her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Wells Sr. and son, Otis Stanley.

Ms. Lucille M. Wells leaves to cherish her memory:  three daughters, Patricia White (Rickey) of Harrisburg, North Carolina, Brenda Wells of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Teresa Black (David) of Charlotte, North Carolina; one son, Tommy Wells Jr. (Lora) of Charlotte, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Sophia Brown (Demetrius) of China Grove, North Carolina; Travis Cuthbertson of Charlotte, North Carolina and Joanna Wells of Mooresville, North Carolina; four great-grandsons, Kendric Cuthbertson, Patrick Blackmon, Amari Cuthbertson, and Demetrius Brown Jr. and one great-granddaughter, Kylie Brown; plus a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
