Mrs. Lydia Viola Gbenyon 86 of Charlotte, passed away on March 1, 2015 at CMC-University. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Wake will be on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Grier Memorial Chapel from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. prior to service. Interment will be at Gethsemane Memorial Garden.
