Lylha Ann Gordon, 62 of Charlotte, passed away on November 20, 2021 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville, NC.  She was born on July 11, 1959, in Elizabeth, New Jersey and was affectionately known by family members as "Lady" because of the way she carried herself as a young girl.  She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as an adult.  Lylha battled illness for over one year and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

Lylha spent her years growing up in Newark, New Jersey.  She attended Girls Vocational School in her high school years and later completed Robert Walsh Business School.  Lylha worked for the FBI early in her career.  She later worked for AT&T with over 20 years of service.  Her final job was with Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC where she was employed for 10 years.

Lylha would always assume the leadership role at home and at work.  She was the oldest of five children and she cared for all of her siblings and mother, as well. At work, she was always on the birthday or celebration committee planning, organizing, and leading.  She enjoyed charitable works and spent many hours volunteering for various causes.

One of Lylha's most outstanding characteristics was her infectious laugh that filled the room.  She loved meeting new people and lifting their spirits

She is predeceased by father, Willie Gordon and brother, Michael Gordon.  She leaves behind mother, Genora Gordon; brothers, Steven Gordon and Dana Gordon; sister, Kimberly Gordon; sister-in-law, Cheryl Gordon, as well as nieces, Myesha Rodrigues and Cherylynn Gordon; nephews, Tariq Ward and Edwin Harris, Jr., and goddaughter, Ashley Peterson.  She also leaves a host of family members and friends who loved and adored her.
