Miss Mae F. Johnson, "Frankie", 82 of Charlotte, departed this life to eternity on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at The Parc at Sharon Amity.  She was born April 17, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Mrs. Octavia Fair.

Miss Johnson attended schools in Mecklenburg County, graduating from Second Ward High School and Carver College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business.  After graduating, Miss Johnson joined First Baptist Church and was employed as their church secretary for over 30 years before retirement.

After retirement she enjoyed traveling with her mother, aunt and cousin.  She loved seeing different places and meeting different people.  She was a very kind and gentle soul who always had a smile on her face.  During her illness, she was lovingly cared for by her cousin, Barbara Alexander.  Miss Johnson will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Miss Johnson was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Octavia Fair and step-father, Mr. Johnny Fair.

Miss Johnson leaves to mourn her passing Barbara Alexander, cousin and caretaker; cousins, Brian Alexander, Daniel Alexander, Raphael Alexander, and Andre Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mae, you will be truly missed.  We love you always.
