Marcus Lamont James, 48 of Charlotte, departed this life on Thursday, March 17, 2022.  He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to Freddie Mason and Gail James, on February 25, 1974.

He was the first born and leaves behind his mother and father; his sister, Natasha James, and his brother, Freddie Mason, Jr,; his grandmother, Naomi Hamilton and grandfather, Eugene Hamilton; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.  He especially loved his grandmother.

Marcus was a very happy, loving person.  He would always have a smile on his face.  His hobby was working on bikes.

He will be truly missed.
