Marcus De'Andre Sydnor, 36 of Indian Land, SC departed this life on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Atrium Health Main. He was born in Greenville, NC on May 8, 1985.

He was the son of Karen Sydnor and Terrence West and later raised with Donnie Sydnor, who adopted him upon Donnie's marriage to Karen.

Marcus graduated from Independence High School in Charlotte, NC before working in IT and eventually moving into Cyber Security.  During his time at Victory Christian Center church, Marcus showed his love for children by serving with both his heart and talents in the Nursery, Children's Church and Youth and Drama Ministries.

In addition to his amazing artistic talents, he also enjoyed leaning and exploring many new things including travel, foreign languages, time at the shooting range and cooking (but never sticking to a recipe).  He was a friend to many, a brother to others and the "Human Parent" to his fur baby "Nova", all while brightening the lives of most everyone he came across.

Marcus is survived by his parents Karen and Donnie Sydnor; his paternal father Terrence West (Dyane); his siblings Malaika Winston (PJ) and Moriah Sydnor, Nyle West, Brayden West and McKenzie West; his grandfather Shadie Ray Whitehead and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He will truly be loved and missed by all.
