Margaret G. Irby CHARLOTTE - Margaret G. Irby, 84, of Charlotte, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Irby was an active lifetime member of Second Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Lance Packing Company after more than 30 years of service. She is survived by one brother, six children, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Irby will be 12:00 noon on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Second Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at York Memorial Park. Grier Funeral Service, 115 John McCarroll Ave., Charlotte is serving the Irby family.
