Mrs. Margaret Louise Phifer Smith was born on September 22, 1948 to the late Andrew Phifer and Lillie Mae Mobley. Margaret departed this life on Wednesday December 16,2020. Along with her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by death by her sister Betty Phifer Withers, Dorothy Phifer, Melaine Mobley, and her brother John Phifer.

Margaret attended Charlotte Mecklenburg School system. Margaret is survived by her loving husband Jerome Smith Sr of 35 years. Two sons Gerald Smith (Tamiko) and Jerome Smith Jr of Charlotte, NC, Sister Carolyn Osborne (Drryle Osborne) David Phifer (Bertha). Seven grandchildren Chris, Kwante, Corey, Yasmine, Tiara, Nyla, and Jordan. As well as eight great grandchildren. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Margaret will truly be missed by her family. She had such a warm spirit and an amazing love for Christ.
