Margie Elizabeth Cranford-Massey, 85 of Charlotte, departed this life battling a few health illnesses on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Huntersville Oaks, Huntersville, NC.  She was the daughter of the late Carrie and Charles Cranford and was born on July 24, 1936 in Chesterfield, SC.

She moved to Charlotte, NC in her early 20's.

Margie was a sweet, caring, loving; mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.  She loved to cook, read scriptures out of her bible, she was a listening ear to anyone who came to her to express their opinion on situations they may be dealing with, she loved and cared for many people, she would take anyone in that may be in need, and she loved all of her family but most of all she loved all of her kids dearly and would do anything she could for them.

She was preceded by her Sisters Hennie Ruth Joines, Etta Bryant, and Minnie Bethea, Brothers Charlie Frank Cranford and Robert Jefferson; Daughters Evelyn Cranford, Sandra Massey, and Whilhemina Massey-Goode; Sons Michael Massey and Emmanuel Massey.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her Children; sons, Charles Massey, and Thomas Massey; daughter Sharon Massey-Fields all of Charlotte, NC; her Grandchildren, Darlene Massey, Michael Lee Massey, Shawanda Massey, Demetrise Massey, Donovan Goode, Benjamin Allen, Emyia Massey, Sharmeicka Neal, Brandon Baxter, Curtis Baxter, Vernon Massey, Demario Quick, Demarco Quick, Lashaunda Quick, Kela Jones, Charlie Massey, Latoya Massey of Charlotte, NC; Sister, Lillie Lowery, Willingboro, NJ and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
