Mark Collareta, 53, of Charlotte, NC departed this life on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

Mark Collareta, who left this world unexpectedly on December 26, 2024, was born on January 21, 1971, to the late John and Suzanne Collareta. Mark was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew him, with an infectious laugh, boundless energy, and a heart full of warmth and love. His spirit touched everyone he encountered, leaving behind a legacy of joy, kindness, and unwavering positivity.

Mark lived life with passion and authenticity. He cherished the simple pleasures - crafting, exploring the outdoors, especially at the beach, playing games, and cooking his favorite meals. His love for his family and friends was unshakable, and his lively laugh was a signature of his vibrant personality. Whether at work or at play, Mark had a remarkable ability to make everyone around him feel seen, valued, and loved.

Mark dedicated many years of his life to working at Republic Services, where his hard work and dedication were recognized with an employee acknowledgment award. Outside of his career, Mark was an avid New York Giants fan, always cheering on his team with great enthusiasm - Go Giants! Above all, it was Mark's humor, generosity, and unyielding kindness that will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Barbetta Collareta, and their cherished son, Philip. He is also survived by his sons, Joseph (Ana) and Anthony (Gabby); his former wife, Elizabeth; his sister, Diana, and his brother, Paul. Mark was a loving uncle to Joshua, Vincent, Dominick, Sabrina, Christopher, and Jamie.

Though Mark is no longer with us, his spirit and memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. His life serves as a reminder to live with passion, love, and joy.
