Mark Jamison, 58, of Bluefield, WV departed this life on September 23, 2019 in Charlotte, NC. He was born on September 18, 1961 in Bluefield, WV to the late Charlie and Dorothy Jamison. Mark was educated in the Mercer County School System. He graduated from Bluefield High School and attended DeVry University in Dallas, TX. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. Mark was a "jack of all trades ". He was a skilled electrician, but also tackled plumbing, carpentry, welding, brick masonry, painting, roofing and car repair jobs. He served as an usher for many years at New Covenant Family Church and Living Waters Community Church in Augusta, GA. He was also a deacon for Beauty for Ashes Ministry, Charlotte NC. He loved talking and debating world issues. He was funny, friendly, kind-hearted and a "child at heart."
Mark leaves behind his wife Sylvia Jamison of Charlotte, NC and stepson, Tim othy Brittain , of Myrtle Beach, SC; his mother, Dorothy Jamison of Bluefield, WV; and his siblings. He is survived by three sisters: Barbara Samuels of Wilmington, DE; Vicki (John) Haynes of Charlotte, NC; Tina Robinson of Philadelphia, PA, and seven brothers: Charles (Rhonda) Jamison, William Keith Jamison and Daryl Jamison of Bluefield, WV; James (Brenda) Jamison of Dallas, TX; Michael Jamison of Columbia, SC; Larry Jamison of Lexington, NC; Christopher (Susan) Jamison of Seattle, WA; and over 40 nieces and nephews.
Mark is dearly loved by his family and friends , and he will be greatly missed.
