Ms. Maronica Goodwin, daughter of Hattie Goodwin and late Ernest Goodwin, was born January 22, 1969 in New York City. God called her home on April 16, 2025. As a young lady, she attended West Mecklenburg High School. After graduation, she worked for several companies in the Charlotte area with the last company being Solventum Corporation. She was a woman of God and an inspiration to many creative and ambitious family members throughout her life.

She is survived by mother, Hattie Goodwin, siblings, Marvin Goodwin and fiancee, Robin Watson, Darryl Goodwin, Kathy and brother-in-law Lawrence Bistrow, son, Quentin Garriett, nieces and nephews, Megan Goodwin, Tony Goodwin, Antwanette Burris, Shanett Gibson, Shanae Gibson, Antionette Spencer, Anthony Spencer, Jr., Jayla Harrington, aunts, uncles, and extended family, Maxine Goodwin.
