Ms. Martavia Nicole Bingley, 28, of Charlotte, NC departed this life on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Novant Presbyterian.

Ms. Martavia Nicole Bingley was born September 11, 1995, in Charlotte, NC.  She was the daughter of Ms. Shemia Robinson and Mr. Terry Bingley.

Martavia was most known for her beautiful eyes and amazing smile.  She had a joyful personality and brightened any room she was in.

Martavia became disabled shortly after birth but she never let her disabilities limit her life.  She attended the Metro School where she was a member of the Opera Club and won a first place ribbon competing during the Special Olympics games held there.  Martavia proudly graduated from Metro High School in 2013.

Martavia had a love for music of all different kinds.  She even owned a guitar.  She enjoyed fashion, clothes and purses.  She always smiled and appreciated being told she looked pretty.  Martavia's favorite color was green.  Martavia was happy in her home life.  Her favorite TV show was "Wildin' Out" and her favorite movie was "Hocus Pocus."

Martavia loved her family deeply.  She had a special bond with her mother and her grandmother.  The amount of happiness she gave her family in 28 years, they could never repay.  She is forever loved and will be greatly missed.

Martavia leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Ms. Shemia Robinson; her grandmother, Ms. Mable Robinson; her grandfather, Mr. Marsheen Patterson; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Anderson; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends.
