Martha Elizabeth Grier, 97 of Charlotte, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Charlotte Health & Rehabilitation. She was born on March 22 1923.  Her parents were Wallace Grier and Jessie Grier. Martha was the eldest of three children.  Because mother Jessie valued Christian education she sent Martha and her younger sister, Ruth, to Berean Church School, now known as Berean Jr. Academy.

Martha was a dedicated Christian and served her God and church in many areas; she served as a church pianist, as a member of the Variety choir, on the Personal Ministries Team, as Sabbath School Secretary, as a Youth Leader and as a part of the Visitation Ministry.  Martha would spend time visiting the sick and shut-in until her health prevented her from continuing.

Martha was a faithful and loving mother, grandmother, and aunt.  She loved her family and they loved her.  We look forward to seeing her again, when the Lord returns and welcome's her and all those who love his appearing home, where there will be no more tears and no more dying.

Martha was proceeded in death by her father, Wallace Grier, her mother, Jessie Grier, her brother, Joseph Grier and her sister, Ruth Grier.  Martha will be missed by her loving son, John Kenneth Grier, daughter in-law, Linda Grier, grandchildren; Melissa, John Jr. and Natalie, her nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and other relatives and friends.
