Mary Bernedette was born May 5, 1967 in Connecticut.  She entered into her eternal peace on January 10, 2016.  Mary is the daughter of the late Annie Sellers.  Mary was known for her giving heart, outgoing personality and being full of life. She attended New Haven, Connecticut's public schools and worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Dixwell Nursing Home, Harbor Side Health Care and Arden House in Hamden, Connecticut.  She loved to travel to new places and had a smile that could light up any room that she entered.  She nourished everyone with her love and compassion.   Mary was preceded in death by brothers, Spencer, Grover, Howard, Eddie and William Sellers; and sisters, Rebia McGrant, Leatha Mason, Annie Lowery and Phyllis McBride.
Those left to cherish her fond memories are her loving son, Amari Rashadeen; special friend, Jamal Freeman; siblings George Seller (Delia) of Charlotte, Mary Lowery of Charlotte, James Bryant of Hamden, CT, Lucy Redding (James) of Ruby, SC, Viola Nelson of New Haven, CT; sisters-in-law, Martha Seller of Chesterfield, SC and Dinah Sellers of New Haven, CT; Aunt Evelyn McGrant; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m.  on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Grier Memorial Chapel.
