Mary Doris Cuthbertson, the daughter of the late Vernon and Bessie Wright, was born on June 1, 1933. She entered into eternal life on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the age of 87.

Mary was affectionately known as "Momma Mary", "My Beautiful", and "Aunt Monk". She worked at Coulwood Middle School as a custodian for more than 30 years. Mary attended Haven of Rest Baptist Church.

Mary enjoyed fishing, cooking, sowing, yardwork, and washing her car. However, loving and taking care of her family gave her the greatest pleasure. She made everyone feel like they were her favorite. A legacy of love, hard work, strength, and a passion for life in which she always gave God the glory are some of the things she will be remembered for.

Mary leaves to cherish fond memories her 8 sons: Valice Wilson (Mary), Jo Nathan, Rocky Neal, Cravon (Daphne), John Crosby (Teresa), Cleatus Dean (Kim), Jesse Lee, and Curtis Lee; 2 sisters Martha and Katie; 30 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Swiller Mae; daughter in law, Vickie; sisters Odessa, Floree, Ada, and Ola; brothers Curtis, June, Harrison, and Amzie.
