Ms. Mary Alice Finch, 76 of Charlotte, passed away on Sunday February 10, 2019 at Saturn Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on November 10, 1942 to Marie Leech and Arthur Lee Montgomery.

She lived most of her adult life in Rock Hill, SC and attended Rock Hill Public Schools.  She worked diligently at Aldersgate exemplifying her passion to care for the elderly, before retiring in 2009.

Her life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verses, Proverbs 3:5-6-"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."

Mary Alice was a loving mother.  She especially loved her role as "Nanny."  She enjoyed reading the bible, a good telephone conversation, soul winning and spending time with her family and friends over a great meal.

Mary Alice is survived by her daughter, Joyce Hall of Charlotte, NC; granddaughters, Kendra Hall of Charlotte and Brittany Duke (Johnathon) of Fayetteville, NC; great-granddaughter, Skylar Duke of Fayetteville, NC; and one brother, William Jackson of Charlotte, NC.
